Rainbow Dragonfly

Hi guys

After I made a rainbow card the other day I decided to make another entry for the Rainbow challenge at CASology while I still had my bright ProMarkers on my table.

Super bright and super simple.  The most time consuming part of this card was finding which sentiment I wanted to use! I opted for this one as the 'big' nestled nicely under the wing of the dragonfly.  I coloured my rainbow of ProMarkers onto a scrap piece of card and then die cut the dragonfly.  I love this dragonfly and it makes a change from using a butterfly.  I tweaked the wings slightly and adhered the central part of the die to my card base.  I then added some Wink of Stella over the top to add a subtle sparkle.

Materials used:
  • Stamp: Clearly Besotted - Dandelion Dreams
  • Ink: Versafine - Onyx Black
  • Die: Clearly Besotted - Dragonfly Die Collection
  • Coloured with ProMarkers
  • Accented with Wink of Stella

I would also like to enter this card at the following challenge blogs:

Merry Monday - Anything Goes Birthday

That's all for now, I'm off to do some housework (which I should have started hours ago...yawn!)

Bye for now

  15. CAS perfection!! This jumped out at me from the gallery, its just so incredible. You coloured the die perfectly and leaving all that white space is so hard to do (I know...) but its made for a stunning card. I think its a winner!!

  19. Ok so what happened to my comment? If this is the second one from me then apologies Blogger threw a wobbler and it disappeared into the ether! So not wishing to repeat myself but not sure if you got the first. This is fantastic, the placing of the sentiment was inspired, no wonder you got an HM at CASology.
Well done on your other recognitions too. :)
