Uniko January 2026 Release - Introducing...Stencil - Ink & Flip Butterfly Pattern

Hi there

I hope you're enjoying the Uniko introductions this week for the January Release.

I promised you another Ink & Flip intro today and here it is....Ink & Flip Butterfly Pattern.

I've used part of the stencil here and added stamped images from the Butterfly Serenade, Flower Power #9 and Anniversaire Arts Decoratifs stamp sets...

This stencil does produce an all over background pattern but I chose to select just five butterflies to blend.  The stencil does just one half of the butterflies and is then flipped to create the opposite halves.  On a die cut panel I ink blended the wings in two shades of ink.  I then stamped two small butterflies in the same two shades from the Butterfly Serenade set, the flight trails from the Flower Power #9 set and the sentiment from the Anniversaire Arts Decoratifs set. The panel was then adhered flat to the card base.

Materials used:
  • Stencil: Uniko - Ink & Flip Butterfly Pattern
  • Stamps: Uniko - Butterfly Serenade, Flower Power #9, Anniversaire Arts Decoratifs
  • Ink: Altenew - Chamomile, Lagoon; Versafine Clair - Morning Mist, Nocturne
  • Die: Create a Smile - Cool Cuts Double Stitched Rectangles

For lots more inspiration from the rest of the team using this lovely stencil, please do visit the Uniko blog, here.  I'll be back tomorrow to introduce the last product from this mini release.

All the new products will be available from Saturday 31 January 2026 at 9am GMT.

I hope you'll pop back tomorrow and then on Saturday to see the release reveal in full.

Uniko January 2026 Release - Introducing...Stencil - Ink & Flip Heart Pattern

Good morning

I have another product from the Uniko latest release to introduce to you today.

And Bev has done it again...it's another addition to the Ink & Flip series of stencils, Ink & Flip Heart Pattern.

I am sharing two card examples today, both being super simple.

On this first card I faded out the all over pattern and paired it with stamps from the Big & Bold Love set...

On a panel of white cardstock I used a pale pink ink and blended it down from the top corner, fading it out half way down.  I then used the first side of the stencil and ink blended the coral shade, then flipped it to complete the remainder of each heart in red, also fading out at the halfway point.  I die cut the panel using a stitched rectangle die and then stamped the sentiment in black and adhered the panel flat to the card base.  I finished the card with a single red heart droplet.

Materials used:
  • Stencil: Uniko - Ink & Flip Heart Pattern
  • Stamps: Uniko - Big & Bold Love
  • Ink: Altenew - Pinkalicious, Coral Bliss, Heart Beat; Versafine Clair - Nocturne
  • Accents: Little Things from Lucy's Cards - Droplets: Rose Hearts

And my second is a super simple one layer card and I've paired the stencil with a sentiment from the Simply Said stamp set...

Directly on the card base I inked up just a vertical row of the hearts, using two shades of pink, adding more concentrated colour to the centres.  I stamped a sentiment on the central heart and finished by adding some tiny silver gemstones to the four remaining hearts.  Super simple.

Materials used:
  • Stencil: Uniko - Ink & Flip Heart Pattern
  • Stamp: Uniko - Simply Said
  • Ink: Altenew - Coral Berry, Pink Diamond; Versafine Clair - Nocturne
  • Accents: Gemstones from stash

There is lots more inspiration from the Brand Ambassadors over at the Uniko blog, here.  Come back tomorrow and there might just be another Ink & Flip stencil being introduced! ;)

All the new products will be available from this coming Saturday, 31 January 2026 at 9am GMT.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Uniko January 2026 Release - Introducing...Stencil - Bauhaus Spring Blocks

Hi there

It's the first day of the Uniko January Release introductions.

Just a mini release this time so the team are showcasing one new product each day this week.  And first up is another builder stencil set...Bauhaus Spring Blocks.

For this card, I used the stencils just as they are, without extending the pattern, and I've also added a sentiment which is from the Doodle Flowers stamp set...

I referred to my Color Cubes to find a colour palette I liked for this card and just used three main shades off the card, as close as I could from my stash.  I simply built the pattern blending through the three stencils in turn and then stamped the sentiment from stamps in the Doodle Flowers set in black ink.  To finish, I added three hearts from a pack of sprinkles.

Materials used:
  • Stencils: Uniko - Bauhaus Spring Blocks
  • Stamps: Uniko - Doodle Flowers
  • Ink: Distress Ink - Saltwater Taffy, Peacock Feathers, Pumice Stone; Versafine Clair - Nocturne
  • Accents: Little Things from Lucy's Cards - Sprinkles: Scattered Hearts Multi

For lots more inspiration from the rest of the team using this fab new stencil set, please do visit the Uniko blog, here.  I'll be back tomorrow to introduce another of the new products.

All the new products will be available from Saturday 31 January 2026 at 9am GMT.

I hope you'll pop back over the next few days to check out the other new products.

Uniko Ink & Flip Inspiration Week

Good morning and Happy New Year!

Sorry for the silence around here.  At the end of the year I managed to get struck down with that awful virus that was going around...twice!  It completely zapped all my energy so crafting was put on the backburner, apart from a one-design handful of Christmas cards I managed to get made and sent, just in time for Christmas.  I also resigned from my job after 16 years so was finishing up there and, more recently, preparing for my new job which I started yesterday, working from home.  So I'm beginning 2026 with a nice fresh start, albeit a tad exhausted!

But that's enough about me, I guess if you're here that's because you want to know more about the Ink & Flip Inspiration Week at Uniko?  Bev is running this inspiration week showcasing the Ink & Flip stencils.  And if you love them, there will be more in a new release at the end of the month.  Each of the Brand Ambassadors are joining Bev this week and it's my turn today.

Also during this week, Bev is offering 20% off the Ink & Flip stencils...which you can find, here.

I chose to use the Ink & Flip Geometric Gem stencil for my card today, and also used sentiment stamps from two stamp sets, Sparkle Sentiments and Flower Power #11...

I just used the stencil in the set that creates the central gem design.  And I blended each section using just three shades of Distress Oxides, blending each section differently and concentrating more intense shading around the outside edges.  I'm so pleased with how this came out!  I then created the greeting mixing stamps from the two stamp sets.  I kept this to a simple single layer design and just finished with some co-ordinating scattered gems.

Materials used:

  • Stencil: Uniko - Ink & Flip Geometric Gem
  • Stamps: Uniko - Sparkle Sentiments, Flower Power #11
  • Ink: Distress Oxide - Kitsch Flamingo, Tumbled Glass, Stormy Sky; Versafine Clair - Nocturne
  • Accents: Little Things from Lucy's Cards - Jewels: Clear Iridescent Mix

If you missed Bev's post yesterday you can find it over on the Uniko blog, here.  And be sure to check back throughout the rest of this week for lots more inspiration from the team.

Thanks for dropping by today, your visits are always appreciated.

Keep well and keep warm!
