Happy Little Stampers April 2017 CAS Challenge

As we're at the beginning of another month that means it's launch time for the April challenges at Happy Little Stampers.  And today is the turn of the new CAS challenge and this time our cue word is...

Here's my DT card using two stamp sets from Happy Little Stampers...

This was pretty simple.  I cut two squares using pierced square dies from white card, one which I had sponged with Distress Inks to create the blend.  After ensuring the ink was dry I used some anti-static powder over the blended background before stamping the Thanks and the butterflies in VersaMark before heat embossing in white.  The squares were then mounted on my card base and the second part of the sentiment stamped directly onto the card base in black.

Materials used:

• Ink: Distress Ink: Wilted Violet (looks more blue here...camera problems again!), Mermaid Lagoon, Twisted Citron; VersaMark; Versafine - Onyx Black
• Stamps: Happy Little Stampers - Simply Said and Thinking of You
• Dies: MFT Die-namics - Pierced Squares
• Embossing Powder: Wow! - Opaque Bright White
