Addicted to Stamps and More #156

Hi there

I'm back to introduce the next challenge which is just going live at Addicted to Stamps and More.  We are continuing on with our regular sequence of challenge themes so this week we are back with everyone's favourite...

Anything Goes!

Our sponsor this week is the fabulous Sami Stamps.  Although I don't often use digis the images in this range are gorgeous, and even better, the winner of this week's challenge will win a $12 gift certificate!

I've used a Sami Stamps image for my DT card this week called 'Birthday Kitty'.  Being a cat lover I couldn't resist this one but I've used it here to create a baby card...

I printed the digi onto some white printable cardstock and coloured it in with ProMarkers.  I then used a stitched rectangle die to cut it out.  I adhered some green polka dot paper to the cardbase, stamped the 'welcome' sentiment onto the white panel before adhering this over the paper.  The yellow die cut word 'baby' was then added to finish.  It's always handy to have some baby cards which aren't specifically pink or blue, so you have a card ready for those 'unknown until arrival' arrivals!

Materials used:

  • Digi Image: Sami Stamps - Birthday Kitty
  • Stamp: Clearly Besotted - Child's Play
  • Ink: Versafine - Onyx Black
  • Dies: MFT Die-namics - In and Out Diagonal Stitched Rectangles; Clearly Besotted - Baby Word Die
  • Patterned Paper: Lawn Fawn - Let's Polka Mon Amie
  • Coloured with ProMarkers

Challenge entries:

A Gem of a Challenge - Challenge #150 - Animals or Birds
Daring Cardmakers - New Beginnings
Brown Sugar - Challenge #157 - Animals
Cute Card Thursday - Challenge #384 - Citrus Colours

There is lots of inspiration over at ATSM created by my wonderful teamies and as it's an Anything Goes week, you can link up anything you create.  Looking forward to seeing you in the gallery.
