Today I'm delighted to be sharing my first card as Guest Designer for Ooh La La Creations for the month of February.
I felt really honoured when Anne asked me to guest design, and I'm so happy to be joining her team this month and to have the chance to play with some of the products.
The current challenge has the theme 'Love'. Here is my GD card...
I'm certainly out of my comfort zone when using CD Roms for cardmaking. So for this card I printed off one of the digi papers, this lovely lacy floral design, and used this as a background on my card. I then did some two-step stamping of the roses and leaves on a die cut tag and adhered this over the paper. I die cut the word 'love' from black cardstock and adhered this to the base of the tag. Then I stamped the word 'you' at the base and added some gems and twine to finish.
Materials used:
- Patterned paper: Ooh La La Creations - Hearts & Flowers from Fleur D'Imagination CD Rom
- Dies: Clearly Besotted - Scalloped Tag Die, Love Word Die
- Stamps: Clearly Besotted - Thank You and Bridal Bouquet
- Ink: Versafine - Onyx Black; Versa Color - Hyacinth, Lavender, Sage and Olive
- Twine: Hemptique - Vintage collection
- Gems: Glitterati
I'd like to enter this card at the following challenge blogs:
